I ordered a free trial bottle of a Acai Berry Supplement through the internet. I paid $5.00 shipping and I got the bottle in 4 days. I never opened it and didn’t even want to try it anymore.
I paid for this on 2/20 (13 days ago.)
I looked at my bank accounts and I have been charged $78.81 (on 3/4).
WTF?
I freaked out. I went to the website I ordered from and read the fine print. If you don’t call to cancel within the 14 days you get charged for the “trial” bottle, and are automatically enrolled for a month supply every month. I am PISSED. I did not know this obviously and am freaking out.
According to their rules I have until tomorrow to cancel this SCAM, before I get charged. But my acccount is missing that $78.81 NOW.
I can not afford to pay this and don’t want anything to do with these stupid pills.
I am on hold with the company right now, but I don’t think they are going to pick up anytime soon. What if they don’t?
What can I do? (besides not ever doing this again)
They answered. They are refunding $60.00 in 3-5 days. Thats how the make their money-the $18.81 they are keeping is their profit for scamming me. I am 20 years old and will sacrifice that $18.81. I have learned my lesson. Internet ordering B-A-D.
